Denim Hero Competition – Winner

My sustainable denim project was awarded First Place in the Denim Hero Competition. The collection focused on upcycling leftover denim materials, combining traditional Japanese boro and sashiko techniques with contemporary design. Through storytelling, craftsmanship, and emotional durability, the project explored themes of memory, protection, and sustainability, highlighting denim as both a functional and narrative medium.
